trunk weatherstrips.

i'm looking to buy some trunk weatherstrips.. what do you suggest me.

on year one looks like theres two choice.

Do some research first, I seem to recall someone having trouble closing their trunk lid as they were too thick from a certain manufacturer? Can't remember who though?
 If all else fails phone Dave at Roseville he will know what fits and what doesn't!

Metro is the too thick harder durometer weatherstrip.
Soft Seal is thinner and softer allowing the trunk lid to shut properly.

How about the door seals , mine seen like there 1 1/2 wide. They seen big does that sound right? I have a hard time closing the windows.

I got Metro to work in my trunk but I hear softseal is an easier install.

I think they're weatherstrip is more accurate in my opinion.
Cost a little more than Metro's.

can it look like this ?? i got about 14 feet of this weatherstrip.. look like its made to be cut the lenght you need.. am i wrong ?..

For 74' I think that's the right one you have.

Can't hurt to try. Put masking tape first where it would glue to trial it out and see what happens.

thank you all... are all weather strip glued to the car ?.. what king of glue do you use.. is 3M spray glue is strong enought ?..
