Trunk Hinge Installation

I am trying to install new bushings on my trunk torsion bars, however am uncertain as to how they are arranged.  Can someone post a picture showing the torsion bar, bushing and hinge arrangement.  Tks.

i've been looking for that information for a while and i finally found out with some picture i found on the internet.

i'm painting right now my torsion bar and i'll be installing them this week-end so i hope you can survive until then.

but ..are your torsion bar already installed and you just want to change your square bushing ?

Mine are still in the car. I'll try to get a photo of them. They've been blasted so the colour is gone.

The square bushing just slides onto the end of the torsion bar where it would
rub against the hinge. A prybar to push down on the torsion bar is all that is needed. And
maybe a rag so you don't mar the paint if that is an issue for you.

The torsion bar is installed.  I just wasn't certain on how the interaction between the bushings and hinge.  But I think I've got it now.  Tks.
