Nash Bridges Cudas - looking for info
« on: January 01, 2013 - 09:13:50 PM »
Hey Guys,

Sorry I dont post over here much...I am on here all the time though looking around.

I was just wondering if this board knew of the status of all of the Nash Bridges cudas out there.  I know one of them was for a sale a while back at some dealer in Texas and another sold at BJ recently.

I'd love to own one of them someday so just get some additional knowledge on them.    :cooldancing:

One of the owners was a member here for a while. Maybe he will read this and tell you all about it. He was a very active member - I just can't remember his name here....    :clueless:

well. I don't have any nice pictures of the car yet, as it has stayed in my garage all winter since I purchased it from texas classic cars of dallas.

here's a link to a youtube video of the car.

1971 Hemi 'Cuda / Nash Bridges # 1 in street action !

the car looks and sounds as it does in the video.

I've been reading a lot of material about all the cars, as well as watching the episodes. very neat.

Nice video link.

What was the aluminum "stick" or shifter on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel?

That might be where one of the cameras mounted for an interior shot of Nash.

That's a good read. Now I know why the cuda dash in this thread/video is a 1970 model.

Yup that would be my guess to along with all the cables handing down on the passenger side for power.

Yup that would be my guess to along with all the cables handing down on the passenger side for power.

there are cables in the trunk as well, for whatever av equipment they were using during the filming. the silver post on the passenger side of the tranny hump is a camera mount, as previously mentioned above.

in the video, the oil pressure gauge appears not to be working, but when I received the car, the gauge is working.

are you interested in seeing the car in person?

there's a lot of info out there, I think most of it is correct, but some of it is conflicting and incorrect.
