I am now working on the electrical for my 1970 Cuda.
The problem is that when I turn the key clockwise (not all the way to start the car) the parking lights (not the head lights), the side runner lights and the tail lights come on. However, when the key is in this same position, I can manually turn the fog lights on and off as expected.
With the key in the standard "Off" position, the head lights (High Beams and Low Beams), the parking lights, the side runner lights work as normal. The emergency lights work as all the proper lights flash.
I fear the problem is lurking under the dash as I have installed a new Engine Harness, New Front Light Harness, New Neutral Safety Switch Harness, New Neutral Safety Switch, New Starter, New Starter Relay, New Alternator, New Voltage Regulator and New Ballast Resister. The ground on the front light harness is securely grounded.
I have looked at the wiring diagrams until my eyes have exploded but cant seem to figure out what the problem is.
Any assistance regarding this would be much appreciated. Thank you!
