    I noticed that one a few days ago. I PM'ed Jason about it as I was interested too but figured jason needed it first. I emailed the seller and got this reply....I asked him how rusty it was?

    Yes the K-frame is still available.  It is rusty but definitely not rusted out and very use able. I would say medium rusting with some pitting.  It would need to be sandblasted.  Rear view mirror is still available.  Let me know if you are interested.

    I pulled my K-frame out of my 71 cuda recently.  It still has the lower control arms, spindles, rotors, calipers, and upper control arms still on.  Steering  box is still on it too.   I think it has about 5k miles on it since it was rebuilt by the previous owner.  I think it has some poly and some rubber bushings throughout.  Paint is OK, but not show quality.  Shows some use but not rusty.  The car was original to arizona and lived in So.Cal. most of its life.   I live in wisconsin, so shipping may not be horrible, or it is only an 8 hour drive from detroit.  I built up another one for replacement and dont need this one laying around.  Contact me if you are interested.  J

    Hey Brad, I am indiffernet, but if it looks good sure.

    In all honesty, the seller is probably closer to my office that you are, but it would be a great excuse to get up and check out your car.

    Jason, I just got in. I bought it. It's not "mint" has some pitting  but useable IMO? If you don't like/want it no problem.  Turns out it's the same guy I bought a driveshaft from 2-3 years ago. Nice guy!

    Alan, this guy knew you. His name is Dean Albonese he is building a 71 Cuda clone out of a ?72-74 cuda?

    Brad, the K-frame is a '74 unit.  It has two posts that stick up on it.  I have no idea why they were added.   You can machine them off and it will look like an earlier unit.
