Hotchkis changed over to a new shock absorber. Instead of the bilstein RCD shocks they now provide what they call a 1.5 street performance shock. The shock is manufactured by fox racing (the same company that makes the Baja suspensions and the suspensions for the new Ford Raptors). Apparently the fox facility is just north of the hotchkis site in California. They've been working together on the shocks tuning it and all that. The guy I talked to had their 70 challenger on two seperate road trips comparing the two, he said he liked the fox shocks much better. Ill say this though they cost an arm and a leg!! I ordered 2 to replace my air shocks so ill be able to comment on how I like them! I've rode in a new raptor and believe me, its unbelievable, so I can testify that fox makes only the best. I've been working my way up to the hotchkis tvs over the past few years so this will just put me one step closer
