Wow.  Your car is packed with options.
Very nice.

It's unfortunate to remove the power windows but I totally understand the reasoning.

Why is the second fender tag missing?   That's too bad really.

Did your car have a build sheet?

The most interesting post I've read this year!
Sweet! A very nice looking car with an interesting engine.
What kind of horsepower would you be looking at with that supercharged engine?
Keep us posted with your work and upgrades.

About the power window, I stock everything that I remove, so anything can be reverse (but I won't... and I'll never sale the car, I'll be buried in it!!!  )

I do have the built sheet, and no clue at all where the 2nd fender tag has gone

Thanks a lot!

Supercharger store sell this kit to be 925hp (with 30% methanol in the water cooling system)
But, honsetly I don't know how to calculate that. Our fuel is 98 octane and the methanol seems to crank that up to 106 (will see!!!)
So... anything above 650hp, and I would be happy!  ;)

Most of our car have their original engine, since it's pretty hard to find an other engine
We do have TWO hemi in E-body, and no 440+6 and only one 440 six pack
The three 71 Hemi'Cuda convertible have been sent back years ago to your country!  :sly:

Also all the Frenchies only dreams of Mustang, so we're loaded with them, and when someone turn to Mopar
it's mostly for the potential power that come above the panache and the style of their design  8)

We're a small club (the mopar owner's club or "MOC") mostly, in France where us car enthusiasts are found or "grass meeting"
Us, we're mostly interested by drag racing

Yes, heavily optionned! Since it was the same price to ship a car with no options or loaded with them!
Unfortunatly... there were few of them each years
Surprisly, each country had their favorite
Where Belgium and Netherlands favord B-bodies
France was into E-body

My 71 was sold new in june 1972... to a switezland hard rock signer (I didn't even tought that they knew that kind of music!!!)

The car was the painted form orange to blue... with fish scales!!! They tought that it was a "concept" to have fish scales on a Barracuda (figure out why!!!)

Anyway, since I'm the 3rd owners, I've paint it back to it's original color (no! I don't have a picture of it like it was!!! sorry!!!)

That was my next question.

Sounds unique.

Do you know what band the singer was in?

Not unique... Belive me... Ugly is the word you're looking for!!

At least if it had been made properly... But it was more like those psychedelic paint made in the 70's, but badly made! So awful...

RAF,

It's good to see another Gran Coupe, on the other side of the pond at that!   Would you happen to have interior pictures?  I think that I, and a few other GC owners wouldn't mind seeing them!

It's an export car that was sold new in switzerland

Hello RAF,
Do you have the name of the original dealer in Switzerland?
I have done a lot of research with the early cars, and also with E-Bodies sold new in western Europe.

Ola Nilsson

P.S. Please say hello from me, to all the mopar guys in and around Paris.
