Proportionning valve hook up
« on: January 13, 2013 - 11:30:50 AM »
Hi Everyone

I am trying to hook up my proportionning valves on my 71 Challenger. It came front drum brakes from the factory, but I am converting it to disc. Last july, while at Carlisle,  I bought, (from Fine lines) what I needed to complete the convertion. I hoop up everything, (I think), and I still have a port that has nothing in it and I have no idea what goes in that port. If you look at my pics, you will see that, the very top port goes to the M/C, the top left goes to the 2nd block, the bottom left goes to the rear brakes, the bottom right goes to the M/C and both front lines are hooked to the 2nd block, but I have nothing in that top right mistery port. Everything seems to fit perfectly. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the help

Robert

Thanks guys!!!   I was thinking that I had the wrong valve, but guess what, I found the plug in the bottom of the bag hidden with some papers!!!  Feeling stupid...  Once again, thanks

I only found it last year when my newly installed metering valve was leaking, and i had no clue what it did!

(Maybe 7071 challenger will edit the title from 'vale' to 'valve' and help some poor soul next year!  :angelwings:  )
