Timing question
« on: January 13, 2013 - 03:51:23 PM »

Here's a control question, just so I don't ruin anything have to check with you guys

440 Engine.

When C is where it sits in the picture and the CAM is set to 'A' then DISTRIBUTOR is supposed to fire at '1' right?

And when CAM is at B, then DISTRIBUTOR is supposed to fire at '6' right?

Because that is how it stands right now..

If "A" is your original timing dot for the cam then yes that is correct.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

The easiest way to double check whether the rotor should be pointing at 1 or 6 is to point it at the one with both the intake and exhaust valves fully closed.

The goal never changes - Stop the 60' timer with your back tires
