I think it's not a MOPAR so I don't think about it whatsoever.  :22yikes:

im not a big fan of the rear-end design.
The front is okay i guess...

It will take a couple years for me to get ok with it I guess ....
I have owned C2 and C3 Vettes ....    I take one of those any day of the week...

I was secretively wishing the C7 would been more retro using styling from the C3 .

I like the roof line, the front is ok, and I agree that the tail is too much like the Camaro on steroids.
The one additional comment I will add is that to me, it looks too much like some of the recent offerings from Ferrari.   The front is very similar to the Ferrari California and F12.  A little too similar for me.  While the rear end is going take some time for me to accept, I applaud them for that because it is pretty unique to Chevy.   I would have loved it if they would have been more aggressive with the design of the rest of the car.

i will give them credit for one thing, they seem to have broken away from the mundane styling, from the 90s up til now, a vette could be sittin in a parkling lot next to a viper and nobody would even give it a second look, not to mention that from 50ft the visual differences between a new 60k standard vette and a 115k zr1 are almost un-distinguishable, at least this one says "look at me" which i think is something new vette owners are definitly looking for.  I agree with the camaro on steroids rear end, and the wanna be viper headlights (which i think started with the C6) and i think the profile is ferrari-ish also.  Chevy had to do something tho, motor-trend said the new viper made the zr1 feel like a dinosaur

Corvette designers seem to have a "butt" problem.  The butt of this new Corvette looks way too much like a Camaro which is ugly.  The Corvettes for the last several years also have a serious "bustle butt".  They are decent looking from the front and front quarter profile but ever pay attention to the "butt?  Makes Hillary look good!

seem to agree with everyone else here, the rear sucks.  shoulda stuck with the round tail lights.  wouldnt be surprised if those came back in a future facelift.  otherwise i think its pretty solid.  thought they would squeeze more hp out, but i assume they are leaving room for future z06/zr1 models.  and the sub 4 second 0-60 claim is pretty outstanding, regardless of the hp.

There's hope left that the ZO6 and/or ZR1 will have a more aggressive front-end.

Anyone good at photoshop to render a 'vert version???

I think the look will take some time to warm up to, especially the rear.  I do think they blew it on that, but at 60K, it beats the pants off of anything remotely close to it in price.  What's not to like about that?

I like it.
I'm a Fastback fan from way back and the rear bubble window needed to go at least 10 years ago IMO

(Aint no way that's gonna sell for 60K)

The more that I look at it, the more I like it, even the rear.  If the new barracuda goes in this direction, I could see warming up to this.

I prefer Mopars, but a good car is a good car.
