With that said, I'm always amused at the opinions that some provide based on nothing but their unsubstantiated bias.  They have never driven a particular vehicle, never sat in one, never owned one, etc.......but claim to know exactly what it does or doesn't offer. :smilielol:

I'm always amused to see how condescending ECS.can be when he has no clue what experiences we have or have not had, talk about forming unsubstantiated opinions .  You aren't the only one here who has driven vettes and vipers.  You have your opinion, and others have theirs, so why don't we leave it at that and keep the assumptions and condescension to ourselves.

I just read six pages of comments, both positive and negative about this new car. :chatting:

All The comments were directed at the appearance of the vehicle, which is subject to personal opinion. :2cents:

Not one person had a negative comment on the performance or interior comfort of the vehicle :dunno:

Appearance is all I can comment on. Don't have deep enough pockets to buy one.  So I probably won't be sitting in one anytime soon :(
Bet they are a lot of fun to drive though. :burnout:

There is no way I can sit in one or drive one here , typically the Vettes & Camaros I have sat in have had nowhere near enough leg room & are clostrophobic , Again I have no way to judge the new one but at least they found something other than round taillights  :smilielol:
Anyway I would still buy the Viper TA over the Vette & support Mopar

Umm...No back peddling here.... I just can't get over the fact that a persons comments made over a year ago about the printed numbers of the LT1 being "not that great" in his opinion, has upset you so much, that you make this comment over a YEAR later... :dunno:

Seems strange to me.... :screwy:

I say that NONE of these style vehicles are built with ample leg room or long distance comfort.

Oh....sounds like a negative comment about interior comfort.... :smilielol:

Competition is GOOD!  And glad that the two bailed out car companies are putting out such awesome sports cars to compete!

Us as the consumer (wish I can consume these, but fun to dream) only wins when there's great car companies putting out great cars.

C7 is quite a transformer-looking car, but still badass.

Gimme a black Z06 (to help camouflage the odd rear end) and a black GTS and I'd be good for dream cars for the rest of my life.

Mmm..okay, maybe also a black '71 Hemicuda hardtop too.   :drunk:

A private apology from member ECS that I thought I would share  :worshippy....

Quote
Hey alan,

I thought I should apologize for continuing to make you look foolish every time you try to inconspicuously instigate and stir the pot.  This last ordeal was quite comical in and of itself.  You claimed that "not one" negative comment had been made but followed up with rebuttal statements that acknowledged the degree and time frame of the "negativity" that you had originally claimed never existed!  Any credibility you had in the conversation was lost at that point.  I'm surprised that even you didn't have the ability to see the trick box that you put yourself into.

You obviously want to be a big shot and THE top dog in the World of restorations.  That actually takes results and not thousands of words or posts trying to convince people just how great you are.  I actually felt sorrow and pity for you when I watched part of your Youtube video this evening.  The song was "Ordinary Average Guy" but it was obvious that you were crying out for attention and wanting to be viewed as something that you're not.

In the future I will do my best in simplifying things so you don't appear to be at a loss during our corresponding posts.  Take care and let me know if there is anything I can advise you on in the near or distant future.

Hahahahahahahahahahaha

This message right here was exactly my point with my comments earlier, the level of arrogance from ECS is ridiculous, I have no intentions of "giving a detailed account if my experience with the new corvette" the point was that ECS automatically assumes he is the ONLY one with experience with these cars and that makes his opinion the only one that matters.  I gotta say Alan, reading the posts back and forth between you and him makes me like you more every day  :2thumbs:

Side note:  my wife just read this thread and said "wow, this is like a Mexican soap opera for men"  :roflsmiley:

I see something wrong already with the vette, why would the gas cap be next to the drivers door? that not only looks bad ,but if gas spills out when refilling it could get on your cloths grabbing the handle.see that was easy! :smokin: :grinyes:

Oh now this is just getting dumb lol

DW, u got one thing right, I've never driven a C7, but I never said I did, I said I though it was ugly(which I do) and that in the world of sports cars, corvettes are Common (which they are)

My sons godfather has a C6 Z06, been in it, driven it dozens of times, and I have always felt like the corvette is the performance bargain of the world.  But the doesn't change the fact that I don't like it.  I will buy a used viper over a new Vette everyday of the week.

Now to your enjoyable but once again unsubstantiated assumptions.  I am not rich, me and my wife work hard for what we have. But I am not jealous of your new corvette man, and unless you have access to my bank records you are just shooting Smoke out ur a$$ because I got news for u man, I buy mopars because that's what I love and I support, I cannot buy a new viper at the moment, but let me check here.......yup, the new Durango RT we just bought, plus our boat is more than enough to have bought a new Vette, and we haven't touched on the truck and the challenger, or the new Carolla we just bought for my wife to drive for work.  And then there are houses, retirement funds, etc that we invest in, so go ahead and pat yourself on the back for your new Vette, but I choose not to own a car that my entire family cannot enjoy together......I await your arrogant and assumption filled response.
