How many teeth are there on a 426 hemi flywheel? also does the 528 hemi use the same flywheel?

Thanks

it would depend on the belhousing used , both the cast & alum bel will bolt on , cast 143 tooth , alum 130 tooth

Also note that the HEMI is an 8-Bolt flywheel versus the standard 6-Bolt for B/RB and LA familes.   Chryco is correct as it will be determined by your bellhousing.  Most SFI rated units for the Mopars will be the 130 tooth.  The 528 will use the same neutral balance (zero) flywheel as the 426 HEMI.

This is what I am doing. I am breaking in the 528 on a engine stand. All I need the flywheel for is to spin the engine. Once the engine is broken in I am putting the 727 automatic transmission back on it. I have a after market bell housing with one hole for the starter nose, my starter is a mini starter. The guy I got the bell housing from said his flywheel was a 143 but it is a 6 hole, i need a 8 hole.So I am thinking for what I need the flywheel for just get a 143 flywheel. I just want to make sure before I buy the flywheel.

well there is nothing we can do to help , it all comes down the "the guy that told you it was a 143 tooth "
if he is wrong then you will have the wrong flywheel .  Is the belhousing factory , iron or alum , aftermarket ?
You should be able to count the bolt holes in your crank to determine if you have a 6 or 8 bolt crank , a "built" Hemi could have either .
