That's not an easy find, as 70 passenger mirrors were unique. They are reproduced if you want to go that way....

Thanks for your input.  I find it hard to believe they came from the factory with only one mirror.  It's just strange to go from having 2 mirrors on my daily driver to only one when I drive my challenger.  Anyone know the reasoning behind only one mirror?  Did they not have the technology of the current "Objects may be closer than they appear" mirrors with a convex shape?  Or did it have something to do with cost?

It actually would be safer to physically turn my head and look instead of relying on the distorted mirror, but I just think the car looks more symmetrical  with two mirrors.
Thanks
Mike

The passenger side mirror was always an option, except when in combination with the A21 or A22 rubber bumper code, and that, only on a Barracuda.  FYI, there was a standard non-remote drivers mirror if you didn't order a remote drivers mirror, try driving with one of those to look at! To make matters worse, if you ordered a 70 SE Challenger or 71 Formal roof Challenger(both with that very, very small rear window) you still had to order the passsenger side mirror if you wanted it.  I have seen many a small back window Challenger without a passenger side mirror. THAT is the worlds largest blind spot!
