Hello from Russia
« on: January 19, 2013 - 05:05:44 AM »
Hello everyone, new to the site, so that you get.
My name is Ilya, I still do not have a car.
But I'm looking Plymouth Cuda, 70-72 years for RESTORATION.
Need a project car.
I would like to find a solid body. A lot of work does not scare me.

Thank you, and I hope for your help.

Hello, Ilya, and welcome.

I'm curious about one thing. If you're willing to accept a 72, why not a 73 or 74?

Hello, Ilya, and welcome.

I'm new at this.
And this car or when seen live.
I have a wish to restore.

I would like to see it so (photo attached)

Please no criticism.

If I ever saw a car I think I would know a lot more.
I would be glad if you understand me. Experience comes with actions.

I would like to find just such a body that would have less contact with the import and customs so as you probably know that Customs is evil =)

As you think.
can make the following changes?

If this is possible with good hands and time, without a lot of work to change the body of the car as if the body on the right.

What would eventually get the body to the left as?!

We can work through this, Do you want a car with round tail lights or the square tail lights?

Two headlights or 4 head lights?

2 headlights are on 1970 and 1972-1974.

4 headlights are on 1971 only.

Square tail lights are on 1970-1971.

Round tail lights are on 1972-1974.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you want to "clone" a 72-74 into a 71?  If so, Yes it can be done  but it is expencive and lots of work.

yes you can, but it will be much cheaper to buy a car already finished or close to finished than starting with the 2 like you posted the picture
