What oil filters do you run?
« on: January 19, 2013 - 08:11:40 PM »
Since you cant get a Mopar 'long' filter anymore, what do you all run? Fram and K&N is the only other two that I have found.

I'm sure Brad will chime in here and say WIX.

But other than that I'd say WIX.

What are the opinions on an STP filter? I currently have one on my motor. It was them or Bosch last time I was going to change my oil, all I know is after what I have read here I avoid Fram.

Only use wix. My brother is a wix sales rep in the filter line, so if you need any part numbers etc. Please let me know.

Many years ago I cut open about 8 oil filters.  I settled on the Purolator L34875 on everything.  It's speced for the mid 90's RAM v10's.  It's the "tall" size.
