Next step is painting the 71 grill that I'll be installing and figuring out the customizations needed to install the quad headlight bracket. After a ton of reading on the site I thought that the inner fender bucket was the same but they are not. The 71 bracket will need a section cut out and new holes for mounting need to be cut into the inner fender. (You can see the difference in the pics) I'll try and take lots of pics along the way.....

The 71 Cuda I'm working on right now has 70 fenders on it. I was very disappointed to find this out when I pulled the grill.
They did simply what you're suggesting. Just remove an area on the fender, drill holes and just nuts/bolts to attach the 71 headlight plates

I'm tiring to leave the fenders less cut up and cut out the bulge section on the headlight bracket instead. Still having minor issues with the headlight screws hitting the fender, and alignment with the lower bracket location but working it out out before paint by mocking it all up......

This is great, good clear pictures. The only thing I'm doing different is that I tried cutting out the bulge from the plate. Worse case I can weld it back in.... I've also had one additional issue in the the screws for the head light surrounds are too long and hit the inner fender. May need some modifications there......

I think my photos got lost on a page turn... So one more time, this is not a factory color but instead is spi pure white single stage shot at home in my dirty garage. It's so bright that color sanding outside on a sunny day burnt my eyes a bit, I actually understand snow blindness a bit now...

It is really looking all White now. Are you planning on colour matching the grille to the body and detailing the grille in the 6 center openings in silver.

looking great     I totally dig that body color AAR hood.   What are your plans for wheels and interior? 
I`m picturing white grill, white steelies and red guts here.....     I`m sure it will turn heads no matter what.

So much work done recently. It was a long break in progress due to work schedules and travel. Engine and trans are now back in the car.

Very Nice so far!!  Who fabbed your roll cage, and where did you tie in the rear mounts? At the package tray, or do they go on through to the trunk floor?  It's gonna look great when done!
