Very Nice so far!!  Who fabbed your roll cage, and where did you tie in the rear mounts? At the package tray, or do they go on through to the trunk floor?  It's gonna look great when done!   :clapping:

I've been lucky to work with a guy called Eddie Paul who is an amazing custom builder, I selected the short rear arms because the bar is mainly for stiffness and u can always add bars in the trunk for extra support.this pic shows the lower cross bar where the rear seats would go, the upper bar is bolt in... I'm really happy with the nascar bars...

One more fun pic is the gear lever setup from passon...

I ordered a full 4 speed conversion, but the trans specific item was a 23 spline a833 road race prepped 2.47 ratio unit. I'm not exactly sure of what the road race prep entails but I do remember Jamie mentioning that he selected the gears for the heavier duty activity.

Very nice. I ordered a conversion kit last year. Wish I went with the 5 speed but the extra 2K or so was needed for other areas of the car.

Minor updates ...
Bought rear drum refresh kit from dr diff.

Bought race disc brake kit from all time racing, should be here in the next 2 weeks

Custom gauge face bolted into the horrible panel that came in the car....

Almost done with my realigned bumper brackets, a lot of cutting and hammering to get a 73 bracket lined up with the 71 grill..

Does the after market disc brakes bolt on the back of the spindle ? If not, and they bolt on like the factory, then your spindles are on backwards :2cents:

Oops, didn't pay any attention to right sides yet, thanks. Luckily the guy I bought the brakes from offered to help me install so I'll have some help that actually knows what they are doing.

I like to bolt up what I can to avoid losing parts. The more I can keep things assembled the better.
