What's it worth? 70 challenger
« on: January 22, 2013 - 12:11:29 AM »
Found a 70 challenger. Non R/T. Roller. Has noting on it, needs quarters, trunk and floors. Guy that has it says he will get fenders, doors for it. He's wanting to trade for my running and complete 68 dart project. Worth $2000. What's the challenger worth? And is it a good trade? Thanks

Have any more info? Most restorable 70 Challengers are worth at least $2000. I've seen some cheap ones lately but I don't see many restorable ones for under $4000. When  you say has nothing on it what do you mean. It has a vin number right ? Interior ?

It's the same old issue in that no matter how much you do or do not pay for the car, your restoration costs are going to more than what you will ever get from selling the car unless it is something special as in an SE, R/T, T/A, etc.  Only do it if you enjoy the hobby and want something potenitally fun, but expensive to work on.
