Just got her home last night. 70 Challenger with 383 with slapstick. Needs some work but not as bad as some I've seen.

Started cleaning her up, hope to get it running soon. Confirmed I got lucky and got a matching car. Couldn't believe it. Looking to replace distributor. Electronic or HEI? I was going electronic but I have a friend who suggested HEI, but seems you have to modify the valve cover. Is it worth it?

Use the Mopar or Firecore distributer. It will work great.  Never a problem and has an adjustable timing range.

Nice find and cool that it has the matching engine.

Those hood scoops are hard to find!!!!  :grinyes:
