This is something I'll never figure out???? Why come onto a MOPAR board and talk down a Dodge truck? You are entitled to your opinion, but why post it here? There are plenty of Ford sites for you to post on about your Ford. By the nature of your post with the "dodge doesn't cut it"comment, you are trying to get a response from all the CTD owners and start crap. I just dont get it?

I've owned Mustang Gts and Cobra Mustangs, but i don't feel any urges to tell anybody here about them. If I want to talk about them, I'll go to a Mustang board. I'm curently considering buying another cobra ragtop, but why would i want to discuss that here?
 :dontknow:

Nothing personal here, I just dont know what positive results you were expecting from this post? It's your money, spend it the way you want, I dont care. I come here to talk with people who share a similar intrest in MOPARS, not FORDS.

And by the way...my current fleet:

2000 Intrepid R/T
2000 Dodge 2500 CTD
1971 Cuda
1974 Cuda
and my son owns a 1993 Stealth....but he's not posting on here about it, he goes to 3Si.org for that.

Anyway, now that i got that off my chest, congrats on your purchase. I hope you have good luck with your new truck.

My dad works for Alliant energy and he said they have had all kinds of problems with the power jokes and durajunks...Mainly the powerjokes they have Injector pump problems and glow plug problems.  And the cummins they have haven't had any problems.  I've read test where they put a banks turbo and a nitrous Propane kit on a Cummins and done the same to a powerjoke and durajunk and the cummins beat them by a long shot.  I hope you have good luck with your ferd but you won't see me driving a powerjoke..Cummins has proven its self over and over and over again..

<=-=-= in the trucking business with semi's and hotshot trucks the Dodge blows the ford out of the water. Sorry you made a mistake.

Hmm so if they dont make anything, isnt engineering the only thing left that distingiushes a vehicle? Is makes all the difference

engineering makes all the difference, that's why I said I wouldn't argue that point.

Forgot to add, I have never owned anything but a Dodge, can't see myself switching anytime soon either. My parents have owned nothing but Dodge since 1969(Charger R/T) as well.

I have been a Journeyman auto tech for over 20yrs now and guess what, always worked at a Chrysler store.

Do you think I am biased? Maybe, but I have also seen a lot of crappy ideas/engineering from the other makes so my descision has always shown me it's benefits. Are there some Mopar lemons, yes there are, just not enough to make lemon-aid. :)

Hey Moparnut, you don't have to own a Mopar to be biased, I know many Ford and Chevy as well as Mopar lovers that are the same way. Too bad there is bias but it is just a part of our nature I guess. Many folks think that what they have is the best and it can even make people dislike you just cause you don't have what they like. I was riding to work with a couple of guys that are Ford freaks, and when I say Ford freaks I mean it in every sence of the word. We were riding in a Ford high-boy and this nice looking Chevy pickup went flying around us and the one guy says "Man I hate them f***ing Chevy guys".  Anyway, I like to drive what ever suites me or my wife for everyday driving and so I really am not biased on the newer cars. (this use to drive my car pool buddies nuts)  I do get a little hung up on the older Mopars but respect any and all others for their choice as well. I make fun of Mustclangs and Chibbys and mostly Ricers but most of it is in fun. Go to a Chevy forum and write that the Duramax just won't cut it and see what reaction you will get! LOL It's funny when you talk to people they refere to you as a Mopar guy or a Chey guy or whatever, nothing wrong with that as long as it isn't cause for hatred or bad feelings.

Now when it comes to grandchildren,

No one and I mean No one has better grandkids than I do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
