I have an original 71 Cuda vin tag that I am looking at right now, the only difference that I can detect is that on the 71 that I have there are asterisks before and after the numbers/ letters... and most of the painted pentastar are gone

The 4 and 8 seem to be correct

My tag reads as follows  *BS23N1B4383999*

If anyone owns the car this tag goes to, I would love to reunite it with the dash.......

I have a 3" magnifying glass and that is correct.
