I know I read about these kits in several mopar mags.
I just spent 2 hrs looking through 3 yrs worth of
mopar muscle, mcg, mopar action etc for the articles.

It's some sort of film (I think) that you put over your
existing painted bumpers to give them the chrome look.

Anyone remember who makes em or which mags advertised them.
I've been going crazy here, lol.

I had access to them a couple of years ago but never sold any , they are a thin plastic molding / cap & just stick them on over the bumper

From what I have gathered, they look kind of cool in pictures but people say that they look a little cheap in person.  I would get a first hand look at a set installed before I spent that kind of cash.

There is a thread here on CC that has pics and lists the maker.

Can't find it. Will look again.

...I have seen them several times up close...don't shine like chrome...also, what about bugs, rocks, road rash etc etc...for show ponies only in my opinion

I have seen them in person also. They look good, but my problem is with having so much of the rest of the bumper not covered, it looks a bit off to me.   :2cents:

Doesn't look good on the new Challenger, I can see people getting too crazy with the chrome add on's like some do to Cadillac Ecalades and Corvettes.

IMO, the grille and tail panel molding really highlight how square/octagonal the current design is compared to the curves of the original.

Looks good in pictures.  I'd only do it on a Silver car so they wouldn't stand out quite so much.
