They just take a normal gun to install. I got mine from ECS for $25 I think.
If you have an aftermarket dash pad, look very closely to see if there is foam under the tag area. Mine had a fairly thick layer of foam there. If I would have installed the tag with foam under it, the rivets would have compressed the foam and the tag would have distorted. I ended up trimming the foam from around the two holes. I put two flat washers on the area where I trimmed the foam. That way, when I installed the rivets, they pushed down onto the flat washers instead of compressing foam.
