reed holley carb?
« on: January 28, 2013 - 10:42:24 PM »
has anybody ever heard of a holley carb tuner by the name reed? the carb on my cuda has reed stamped on the main body and the metering blocks. the main body has no choke and is contoured like a proform or a quickfuel. it works very well just not sure what the cfm rating is i bought it from a swap meet years go on the cheap. it is a double pumper with only the front block having idle adjustments so i don't think its to exotic. i will get a pic or two of it in the morning if that will help. thanks for everyone's time!

72 Cuda, owned 25 years. 496, with ported Stage VI heads, .625 in solid roller, 254/258 at .050, 3500 stall, 3.91 rear. 850 Holley DP, Reverse manual valve body.

1999 Trans Am, LS1, heads, cam, headers, stall, etc! Love to surprise the rice rockets with this one. They seem so confident, then it's "what the heck just happened?"

Measure the throttle blades and that will help you drill down to possible sizes.
