    Front speaker from Year One

    Hi everyone...

    I just bought the "Dual voice coil front speaker" from Year one. They claim it is "designed to fit in the original front speaker opening". It is 4" X 10"  and you connect both channels on the speaker. 80 watts. I thought it was a great idea. Problem is, I tried to install it and it seems I will have to trim the dash frame opening to install it. Anybody here has installed one before?  Let me know!  Thanks.

    I had to use vise grips and snips to nibble at the frame under the side speakers. Any replacements with a big magnet need work.
    I use the middle front for the CB monitor. And Radio Shack 4x10" 20watt.
