 :o  I'm no expert but I would never mount a coil under a fuel line. Recipe for a Mopar BBQ?  :scared:

hmmm, have to think about that.  The portion of fuel line it is under is just a piece of chromed steel.  And the coil tower
does point to the passenger side fender. But will chew on that.

I knew there was a reason I had a fire extinguisher on board!

Yea need to move that just did know at the time where to mount it but you are correct on the Mopar BBQ. Alwats carrier a fire extinguisher in the car.......

I suppose with a long enough coil wire, they can be mounted anywhere.
Just depends on how short you have to keep the coil wire.
Actually, your location is good as far as keeping the coil cooler.

Old school tricks is to run a partial divider in the Plenum ( from the bottom of the carb down), doesn't have to go all the way top to bottom just enough to deflect the pressure wave from affecting the entire carb.
