I hear ya Dutch...  That's why I'm not getting black...   I don't want to fight to keep it nice.  Gonna hafta park it outside a lot. They had a red SRT...     After driving everyone around me crazy for months...      I'm really thinkn red. The silver is kinda plain. I like it, But kinda disappears. The white is cool too.      I'm still not 100% on the metal flake red... Looks pretty good in person. I'd prefer a torred  but I don't think they made em.      Didn't sleep much last night.   Got Challenger on the brain.   What do you think of the new red metal flake?   I'm about to pull the trigger...      I like how the black grille pops.  needs the rear spoiler painted black, Some hood pins and a real pistol grip.    put a fork in me...  because I'm done...

Every car I find has the slate grey interior...  And of course I want black...

The redline is a gorgeous color, mine is TorRed. My 72 was Rallye Red but I didn't get if finished like I wanted so when I got the new one I got the red  . . . . twice. I will say that it is more noticeable. I've been stopped twice in my SRT. 
If you're a die hard manual guy get the manual or you'll be kicking yourself in the butt.  Comfort wise the auto is easier to drive.

as stated:  It's a manual er nothn.... I'm not going this far and not going all the way...       I went to the dealer here in town yesterday.... Just about pulled the trigger on a Redline red classic R/T   or they found me a black "Blacktop" edition that I cant get out of my head.   Can't decide...   The red is really cool.   Black is bada$$.     Not sure on the Cragar lookn 20" wheels that come on the classic...                Do you think it's worth it to get the "classic"     had 3:92 gears.  functional hood, And a few other little bells/whistles.      Er and R/T plus?          I am seriously about to cave in!     AND GET ONE!!!!!!!!!    R/T

I'm starting to look for a newer challenger.  As soon as we pay the mini cooper off, I'll get more serious.

The wife won't drive a manual, so I guess I'll be getting  ..... a manual..

I like the interior with the red accents.  But that limits the colors you can find it in.

This is it...  I'm about decided.    No red gut. Doesn't look right in person. Dark slate grey for me.     Then T/A hood,Supercharger,Side exit exhaust...Engine bay brace,Coil packs...  The thinner side stripe...  Deeeep wheeeeels   Ohhhhhhh    Yeahhhhhhhhh....        Got sum info. on really cool custom moon roofs from Webasto with twin vents.

Well when I was 18 I could not understand why anyone would want an automatic in a muscle car. Now that I almost 60 I chose an auto over the manual. Now I just cruise around and leave the street racing to the younger crowd. Lord knows I did my share when I was a lot younger!!

Can't find a black classic...so the blacktop has 3:73 gears. Not the 3:92's.  prolly be ok?  I like the black wheels better. Take the lame stripes off and add the narrow red r/t side stripe...   Hmm...

RT Classic, 3.92 and don't forget the Super Track Pack. RT should be easier to find the deep dish look wheel because of the smaller rotors without going custom. SRT is tough to find the right offset and clearance. Check out Challenger Talk site for more info on tires and wheels disucssion on the second gen Challenger (Mistsu does not count).

just wondering if you decided yet?...i have a 10 that i bought new..i have to tell you , i absolutely love it!!..i ordered mine..or i should say they found what i wanted..i figured if i was paying  all that dam money it had to be what i wanted!!...my rt has black cloth..6-sp..gill stripes..20's  thats it..i didnt want all that fancy stuff..that one day wont work..lol...its super comfy..that and gas mileage i didnt expect..i have gotten almost 27mpg  3 times on trips to fla....that said it also has a really bad blind spot when changing lanes!!...i have the mirrors set real wide!!...i priced mine out on their website them looked up invoice...i told them i would pay invoice..when my car came in it had 20's and stripes that i didnt request..so for 200 bucks i got both!!...i'm very happy with the car!..still alot of money tho!!..pic is on one of the power tours with a trunk load of "stuff"

7212Mopar are you sayn... wait and find an R/T classic with a super track pack?  3:92's?   I like the blacktop. But still a little unsure.  It's a little cheaper than a classic... About an r/t plus trim line.   Ya I hear you about the wheel lip on the 20" cragar 5 spokes. I just don't like cragars. And the chally is so new lookn' ...I like the black wheels on the blacktop. Could powdercoat wuteva' though.     Thanx for the review Madmaxx I had considered white,But have about settled on the pitch black w/red stripes.    *sigh*   I sure do want one... And right now I don't have a decent driver. Blew the head gasket in the conquest. My old work van is...old.       I'm almost 43 yrs. old and getting tired of driving rattly,squeaky,leaky,hot,cold,smelly old cars all the time everyday for my whole life !!!   Thing is I won't have the money for the Cuda resto. drivn a new Chally R/T.   Never owned a car newer than a 1991 ever...  So I'm on the fence.   We just raised our rates quite a bit. Got work lined up basically forever.(I'm a high-end remodeler)  I'd have to work one full weekend a month for (ever)  6 yr. term.  to do it.    Make sum compromises.    I can do it. I think.    Make a few bigger payments for 2.5 yrs. maybe and refinance.   I'd probably keep it forever.     Any thoughts on buying new vs. used on these cars?  My reasoning for new is: When would you ever want to be the original owner of a car (that you could drive forever)  Than a new Dodge HEMI Challenger    !?!?!?     ok somebody slap me. I'm foaming at the mouth...      Or 10k less for a beat on used one w/ 48K miles....   eh.     wut do i do!?     I got the fever...    And you only live once.     R/T

best picture I could find... This is what I want. T/A hood   And see how the stripes are narrower? Especially at the tips.   The black cragar wheels will work. I do like the lips.    Black chrome grille surround. Side exit exhaust.   Mmmmmmmm....   So pull the black top stripes and slap on sum of those red ones.
