Thanks Larry! At the time My family didn't see my vision of the paint scheme, they loved the black, but I really like the way it turned out. I watched your youtube video, Beautiful Cuda you have!!!

Nice car.  I love T-tops.  Humm, maybe there's a way to add a T-Top to the Challenger.

Thanks guys for all the responses, and comments! I really have enjoyed working on this car, and best of all, It's a NICE car, waits till your in the driveway before it has an issue. It was never left me on the side of the road, or broken down in town. VERY reliable, starts everytime, and if you cruze it, the gas milage isn't terrible.

The one thing that is an issue when building an UNpopular mopar is parts... No catalogs, or warehouses full of B-body parts. I've spent countless hours researching for parts in salvage yards, and finally got lucky, and found a VERY RUSTY, but super clean, grandmother owned, garage kept, 78 Magnum XE. I swapped from this car, the engine, tranny, the entire interior including the column, nose clip, 1 fender, both doors, wiring harness, tail lights, headlight covers, with front side markers and the rear axle. My Magnum had a 2:76 rear gear, and as you can see the parts car has a 3:98 tag.

Don't get me wrong. I normally don't KILL cars, but I hit a deer, shortly after moving to Branson, and trying to find a nose clip, and fender. My wife found this VERY RUSTY Magnum on ebay. I paid $1100 for this car, drove it home 150 miles, It drove GREAT! Got it home and tore it apart! Over a year I stripped this car down to nothing. Keeping any and all parts as extras...

Nothing left on the parts car that's not tore up!

Thanks Gus Cuda! I wish at some point we could plan a car show together, so I could take some of you for a spin in the Magnum, because its soo different, and fun to ride in. Although I would have to ride in a few Cuda's, and Challengers... Only fair in my book...

Funny how you know when you didn't do something exactly right. My car came with tilt column, and cruise control, but the column was broken when I got it... with a remote start.. ( stolen? ) It didn't come with any keys, so I replaced all locks, but over time the steering wheel became sloppy and loose. When I got the parts Magnum, I swapped the column that did NOT have tilt, nor cruise, BUT ALSO had the shifter. SOOO Looking at this pic. It has a column, AND Floor shifter.

I saw a '70 "Cuda that had the column and floor shift like that.  Stuff happens over the years, things get replaced.

You should leave the column shift handle there and mess with people's minds...  :roflsmiley:
