70 seat cover/foam on a 73 frame
« on: February 06, 2013 - 07:52:52 PM »
Will a 1973 seat frame accept a 1970 seat cover and foam. I like the look and shape of the 70 style

I don't think so.  I havn't had my 73 seats apart yet, but they used a new process for the foam.  It is somehow moulded to the seat frame.  It's not replaceable like the earlier years.  To rebuild a 73 seat, you have to add foam to the worn areas.
