Complete, in pieces, in need of total resto. I think it's a 273. What would this be worth?

zero to 1000.   Dave, come on now.  Rust free needs no sheetmetal.     needs quarters, trunk and floor pans, left frame rail,  .block needs .060    you see   It's also never fun doing someone elses puzzle.

They are not worth a lot.  I agree with Al.

That's all the info I have t the moment, but I'll either update this and/or place an ad for a friend in the near future. I had a feeling that the value would be fairly low.

Dave, there are followers for cars like these, so don't fret. If it's a solid body and a roller it can be more.  The restored value average I have seen myself has been around 7500 or so. So most people don't want to put a lot out unless a labor of love.  Many racers are going for the lighter older a bodies now to, since they can build an engine, kinda like what you want built.   Usually a car like that , assembled, needing restored with a v8 is up to 3k, but they are all together and fairly solid

That's kind of what I had figured, Al. And no need to fret; it's not for me. One project is more than enough, at least until the bills are gone. I think I'll end up posting it here for the owner, though, but I wanted to have some good advice to give him when I talk to him.

I just saw one in the last week on craigslist, I think Kansas, for 5K.   Totally built up with really nice paint, int, etc.
Definitely a labor of love.  Decent looking car when done up right.

I do like them, and if I had time, money and space I'd think about taking it.

I've got a '68 notchback that had a fairly decent resto done over 10 years ago. Runs great, but needs a new paint job and I can't give it away for 5K?? I hope you find a good home for it. I hate to see Mopar crushed!  :scared:
