Burpin Bashing
« on: March 10, 2005 - 05:44:50 PM »
Even though Burpin knows Burpin is setting Burpin up for a razzing, Burpin cant resist sharing what maybe exciting news with his compadres. Burpin has a buddy in Houston that deals in old Fords. He is lucky to be even considered a buddy because of the Fords but, he said he has located a 70 Hemi Cuda somewhere in Texas, Burpin is not disclosing the area, and he said the guy wants 15k for it. It will need a complete restoration and Burpin doesnt know the full extent of the damage. Burpin question is, if the cuda is complete but rusted out is it worth 15k.

Do you just need a good smack in the head??? Of course it's worth it!!  Do these ferd guys not know what they are saying??? If I knew of a guy selling a 70 hemi cuda for 15K, do you think I would be telling Burpin??  I don't think so.  Take out a loan, sell a kidney and go get that thing!

BTW...welcome back.  It was really quiet without you around... :coffee:

No it isnt worth 15k.....you should just forget about it and give me the location of the car ;D ;D ;D

Seriously its a steal for 15k.....unless its stolen or completely salvaged.

Another wild goose chase Burpin?    ;D

It's definately worth 15k because they reproduce almost all the sheet metal parts now and when it's restored it will be worth what ever you want for it.  IF it is even a hemi, because ford guys probably don't know the difference between a hemi and a 318.  If its a big block mopar engine they just assume its a hemi.   Just my $.02.

Sure hope this isnt a stupid wild goose chase. The buddy of mine in houston is a top notch engineer that travels the worlds. He is a specialist. he isnt a redneck like the last one. He owns many restored nice cars. Mostly fords. infact burpin unloaded a falcon on him today. That is why he called in the first place. Burpin doesnt get too see him alot anymore he has been in moscow on a 3 year contract. but burpin is suppost to get the details saturday when he comes to town. Burpin will keep ya posted.

PS yall dont want pics of the falcon do ya?

didnt think so
