Neat car. Don't paint it until you make sure the gas filler neck fit's correctly in that quarter skin.

First thing I thought too, was gonna mention not to throw away the old quarter till things had been fitted then I saw the old 1/4 was cut off by February of 13..
some folks have had issues with the marker light fit as well...

I haven't drilled the mounting holes yet but the filler neck seems to fit well.  The marker lights were a different story.  The right side has the factory light  opening installed in the new 1/4, the left got even less of the 1/4 replaced and kept the factory marker opening. 

It's been a while since this project started.  Really hoping to have the engine started and maybe even car moving by mid December.

Looks good.

Remember to test fit all trim including antenna mast prior to painting.
The rear window trim is mandatory to check trim. Quarter panel gaps may occur otherwise.

What is the best fitting replacement windshield?  A sub contractor broke mine  and I need to get a new one ordered before they forget about it.

It's not totally wired and the fuel pump relay doesn't want to activate but here is the second or third start of the engine.

Looking good.  Hang in there.  I found a 70 Challenger windshield on ebay that I ordered and picked up at a local retailer.  It was a lot cheaper than buying a repro with all the correct markings on it.

It's coming together pretty quickly now.  Still lots of body work to do but outside the drive shaft everything else is ready to move under its own power again. 

The headlights are now wired to relays in the 96 relay center taking the load off the light switch and the 96 computer is running with input from the 70 harness. 

The Ammeter is the next hurdle as it definitely not up to handling the amperage of a modern alternator. 

I really need to start doing a better job keeping this up to date and more technical.  Do that with my last truck has already paid off a couple times when I can't quite remember how something was done.  Here's a link to that one http://www.dieseltruckresource.com/forums/1st-gen-ram-all-topics-93/current-project-302263/

I just ran across this thread.  What a great project.      I wish my auto-shop teacher had such a cool project to work on when I took auto-shop in High School.
