As some of you know, I was trying to arrange a car show at the Walt Disney World resort. I was finally able to talk to someone in Disney, and as it turns out there's someone planning something similar for this year. In some ways the show they have going on will be better than what I was planning, especially in that they're planning a show for the Labor Day weekend, which makes it a lot easier for those who have kids. The event organizer, Tara Bush, told me that she'd specifically like to get some Mopar representation there. The show is organized around another show that's Ford-centric, and since GM is a major Disney sponsor there's a lot of GM support as well.
I have volunteered to help them, which is mostly going to entail getting the word out. If you have questions, feel free to ask me, althoough I may not know the answer. I can try to get an answer, or you can use the organizer's contact info at the bottom of this post.

Dream Cars Weekend, a car enthusiast's dream vacation, will be held at Walt Disney World's® Coronado Springs Resort during Labor Day weekend, Aug 30-Sept 2, 2013. This is the largest car event ever held on Disney property.
We are offering a special event rate of $99 per night plus 2 free after-4 theme park tickets at the Coronado, which is a 2000 room campus style resort with 280,000 square feet of meeting/exhibition space and 5 pools.
The Mustang Club of America Grand National show will be held at Disney’s Richard Petty Speedway and will be sharing the resort with Dream Cars Weekend. They expect over 800 Fords and have already booked 1/3 of the rooms. The resort will be sold out so please book early.
We have designed an exclusive package deal for car clubs only. If your club registers 25 cars and each of the 25 car owners stay at the Coronado Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, your club will receive the following:
• Reserved parking together as close as possible to the club’s room block along with special reserved club signage.
• Reserved table seating at any or all of the parties that the club participates in.
• 25 free Monday morning Rise & Shine Breakfast tickets ($625 value).
• Club recognition on the Dream Cars Weekend website and in the event program guide.
• Access to a catered banquet hall for club functions or use as a club hospitality suite (charges would apply)
