Either one. Better yet both.

If thats fully depressed, then I don't see why you would need to enlarge the hole for the guide to clear.

Mopar Mudder has aftermarket cables.

Wanted to post something that I just found out the hard way that may save others some greaf. After putting the exhaust on the car I found out that the cable actually sits on top of the exhaust, the exhaust pushes the cables up closer to the floor. So my holes through the sub frame should have been closer to the floor of the car, luckily I made them big enoough that I think they will just make it. This was a TTI 3" X-Pipe exaust system also.

Wow, all these pictures and info are incredibly helpful.  I'm through the exact same thing right now.  73 cuda, US cartool connectors, TTI 3" exhaust and american powertrain tko600 profit.  Just worked on getting the drivers side connector mocked up last night.  with some massaging it's all tacked in, however I notice that the width of the frame connector is quite wide to wrap around the rear frame rail - by about 1/2 inch, did you have that problem?  haven't decided how i'm going to solve it yet.

I just put my parking brake cable on after the exhaust was done and everything rode perfect.

I can't remember that area being a problem. Don't have a good picture of that end but maybe some of these could help.

Ok, those pictures help a lot.  Looks just like mine, I see what you did at the end of the connector near the torque box, I'll do something similar.  Thanks a lot, great pictures!!

Walker,
Add a picture of what you have done to fix the problem.
The more info we get the better!
