Once you get everything back in just do a rough alignment with the window all the way up and then very carefully and slowly begin to close the door and check where it aligns with the seal and posts. Then do your fine tuning... front-rear-top in and out....  Good Luck

the guides have slots in the bottom of the doors to tilt the windows in or put , the stops can be adjusted up & down there is also adjustment to move the windows forwardor back in the doors

I am getting it, slowly.
The big question at this point is, how much of the rubber seal on the front of the rear quarter glass gets covered by the back of the actual window?
If all the windows were up, how much of the "rubber" should you see between the front and rear glass.

Thanks, I will give it all a good effort tonight.
I now have all the glass in, just have to lign it all up nice, so I can put on the door panels etc.
I did recieve new rubbers for the chrome strip on the 1/4 window but can not figure out how to get the old ones off.

If someone can take or has photos of their windows in the closed position it would be great to have a look at how the windows meet up, what the alignment looks like etc.

Just did the quarter windows on my car and noticed something I thought I should add to this thread:

The upper track adjustment is an offset screw - different positions will adjust the horizontal angle of the glass.  At least they do on mine ('72 'cuda).

It helped me get closer to the original factory compromise.
