72 challenger no brake lights and now power at switch on pedal
« on: February 27, 2013 - 08:22:07 PM »
Just wondering how the power is delivered or how it starts? I don't have any power to the switch on the Pedal. I do have turn signals and running lights

This helped me figure out I had a bad turn signal switch.  The brake lights run through the steering column.

Should the power come through the switch on the pedal before the turn signal switch?

I will put this $.02 worth of info that has always helped me on the spot. I have always found and purchased a wiring schematic for each car I owned. Always has come in handy...especially in cases like this.

PS....just used the one on Sunday for the wife's Road Runner

Yes, the switch should feed the power up to the turn signal switch.
Trace it back from the switch, pretty sure it runs straight to the fuse box.

Bad fuse, wire or the brake switch sounds like your problem.
