I bought a 73 Challenger in the summer of 95 for $700. I saw if for years sitting behind a fence in a small town we used to pass on the way to my grandparents house. My dad and I went to the Mopar Nats for the first time in 95. On the way home we decided to stop by and have a look at it. No one was home so we left a note at the door. A few days later I got a call that it was for sale. We drove over with a trailer that weekend and picked it up. I never got to drive it though. I took it apart and sold it a few years later. I wish I still had it. The floor pans, trunk floor and quarters were really bad but the rest of the car was better then my current Challenger.
In 96 after I graduated high school, my parents helped me buy a 91 Daytona.(2.5 5-speed) That was a fun little car! I took the 14's off and put on some 15" aluminum wheels from a wrecked 88 or 89 Daytona. I also found a rear window louver for it at the Mopar Nats.
