What was your first car?

1968 Sport satellite 383 four speed

A 65 Bel Air, followed in a few months by a 69 Satellite, followed in a few months by my Challenger.

My first car was a 1964 Plymouth SPORT FURY & that was in 1973 in high school. Great car until some jerk kid car thief totaled it after racing through neighborhoods before school at 6 A.M. & (the same week i had it painted )  after stealing a car 4 days before ( yes, the 15 year old  theifs mom KNEW he had a stolen car the day he took it & yet said nothing, even gave the  sob gas money for it. he hit 7 cars that morning, he was 15 and my Sport fury was the 6th car he hit & the 7th car was the car parked across the street where he bounced off MY car & hit it. I have been thinking about buying one . I have seen about 4 in autobuy classifieds in different issues. My next car was a 68 Charger, hemi - orange with black vinyl top 383 2 BBl, great car as well.

My first car: 1964 1/2 Mustang Convertible, 260V8, auto (bought when I was 15yrs young). White body, red interior, black top. I envy all you guys that managed to keep your first Mopars.

  I got my licence at 14 (1971) but my dad said I could not have a car until I turned 16.  When I turned 16 I went looking for a car with $800.00 in my pocket. I wanted a 1956 Chevy Belaire. The closest one I found was 900---so no sale.   Ended up with a 1965 Chevy Impala SS,  327/AT, for $400.00    Used the extra money for a set of wheels and tires with hijacker air shocks.  A few years later (77) I found my cuda.

i wanted the 69 charger to be my first car, but i couldnt quite pull that off at the time.  so i settled for plan b which was a little 914 porsche.  entirely different philosophy there, but i enjoyed it quite a bit

My brother had a 914 in High school.  He used to tell me how much better it would go around corners than my 'Cuda.  I suppose he was right but I didn't mind too much.

I started with a 4d 56 Chevy 210. Had done 400000km as a taxi. Paid about $60 - in 1973. Manual with strait 6.

When I see posts like this it makes me wonder if I am too young to be on this site, lol. My first car is still my current car. It is an 05 V6 Mustang. I went from stock... (this grey mustang belongs to somebody else, just used for comparison.)

1974 Dodge Dart.

4 doors, vinyl top, beige color, slant 6... It was a real chick magnet.   

Here is a picture of the day it died. I was parked off the road, but a drunk driver coming the other way managed to crossover to the shoulder on the other side. I can still hear the thud.
