1964 Ford Falcon Sprint. I got my license  in 1969 and bought the Sprint in 1970 for $35. I didn't get my first Mopar until 1972 when I bought my cousins 1970 RoadRunner for $1100. She bought it new but then started to have kids and didn't think the 4 speed was a good idea for a growing family.

Once I finished year 12, senior year, I worked my ass off at Bunnings (aussie version of home depot) for a year so I could afford to buy and work on my '73 Challenger! Now I'm in the uni doing materials and mechanical engineering and the car project has been put somewhat on the back burner.

When my older sister turned 16, my parents bought a 1981 chevette off my aunt.

It was a light tan and had power nothing, tons of miles, but it got both me and my sister through high school and then held up until we got our first jobs and bought .... better...cars:
Mine was a 1987 Ford Tempo

I bought it at an auction in 1994 for $1250.  All it needed was a $40 water pump and it was good to go.  I drove that car until I totaled it on the way to work one morning. Until then the only thing it needed was the usual expendables (fluids, filters, tires, brakes, etc).

Looked something like this but had more rust than steel in it. Hardly qualified for a Mustang...

My first car was a 1941 Plymouth 2 door sedan. I put a 318 and an 8 3/4 rear in it. Bought it for $10. in 1984. The I had a 74 Dodge Ramcharger with headers, glass packs and 31" tires. Loved that truck. Would shake the glass doors at my high school when I started it up.

Speaking of all these mopars, I was eating dinner at a reasturant and right outside my window was a white 71 duster, white interior, great condition, think it was an i6. should have taken a picture.
Nothing last forever, so be thankful for what you have while you still have it. :)

First car I owned and was "Legally" on the forad was a 1988 Mercyry Tracer gold with goat **** brown interior. The sub frame was almost rotted through so we welded on some rebar and paid for a fake safety. This was in 2004.

While I was in college the price of scrap steel was high so me and my buddy used to scrap vehicles for extra cash on the side because working at Tim Hortons wasn't paying the bills to my satisfaction. So from this came alot of 80's crappy cars but in there was a 78 eldorado, 56 bel-air 4 door with a rusted through frame and a Camaro with the Iron Duke.

Got a real job almost right out of college and bought my daily car, first brand new car have ever owned, a 2008 Hyundai accent it was 10,000 bucks couldn't complain about that.

in 2010 I bought my 74 Challenger at the ripe old age of 24.
