I don't know if anyone has pointed you to this or not (didn't have time to go thru all 4 pages of responses to your query) but, wasn't there a triple black Challenger for sale for $15K askin', in the classifieds right here, on C-C.com?

I know I saw it and I m pretty sure I saw it here (I also know that, if I had room for another my wife and I'da been up to Brooklyn to see the seller WITH HASTE!!!!!!!!!!!!)

If I can't find a good mopar for under 15 I may just end up getting something like a skylark for 5k or whatever, no mopar but at least it is a nice car and I can drive it will I save up for a challenger.  :bigshades: Im good friends with a guy who lives and breathes GM cars so If im not sure about anything I know he will be there to answer questions.

Roger that.

Here it is (knew I hadn’t ‘lost it’ entirely ;-):

1973 DODGE CHALLENGER 72K MILES, TRIPLE BLACK:
http://www.cuda-challenger.com/cc/index.php?topic=91295.0

I swear fo G*d, I am 1/2 tempted to cash out one of the grandkid's college funds, take a stab at that seller and just p*ss my wife off with yet another storage unit fee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You got 1st dibs though, of course, *if* they still / really have it

Best o' success!  I laid out $22 for mine but, it was set up pretty much just the way I wanted and the engine leaks NOT A DROP of anything so, I look at it like that seller did my work (on his time even if eventually my dime ;-) for me (while I was completing grad school)!

HA  :roflsmiley: If you want it so bad maybe you should race him for pinks  :bigshades: I would be even more interested if it were say 12-13k, still need money for gas, insurance, etc, but once i get my second job I know I will have more funds. But im not itching THAT bad to get a mopar right away, because I know I will have one in the future, so if I have to wait 5 more years to afford a nice challenger/cuda/ its fine by me

Heck, I like 'em BOTH (I wouldn't kick either out of the be, err, the BARN!)

OP, what're you waitn' fer?!   ;-)

Torredcuda, in my household, you would be to marriage counseling what Hershey's is to dentistry.

Hee-hee, you could keep finding me sweet deals, I'd spend my self silly-broke and my wife would ask me, "Which one do you want to be in when I shoot yer *ass? . . . go ahead, I'm waitin', pick one!"

just viewed all the photos. Engine looks like its from a 72. Im not sure if I would wanna tackle a project like that, needs a fair amount of work imo. 15 is my max but I know that even at 10k all the extra 5 would be going into this. But I am still interested if you would be willing to tell me more about it

I'm open to offers, I bought my first mopar project when I was 17 (6 years ago when the market was higher) so i know what it is like to be a young gun trying to get a cool car. Any questions in particular?
