Florida Mopar Nationals 2013 E Bodies
« on: March 06, 2013 - 10:13:39 PM »
Some pictures of nice ebodies last sunday in Ft Lauderdale.
Brought the cuda, and convinced the wife to drive the stealth, and sit and guard them for the day!
Got gold plaques for both cars, which I wasnt expecting. I spent half the day drooling over a couple vipers nearby.
The torred hemi cuda and hemi orange chally are supposedly numbers matching cars and owned by the same guy, who also won top honors for his 69 hemi roadrunner  Apparently he likes hemis.

On the way to the show, showing 4000 rpm at about 60 mph (indicated 70mph) and a shadow of my new rat fink antenna topper on the shaker bubble  :cooldancing:

Nice cars, Thanks for sharing.  I am really going to try to make a show down there just for an excuse to go back to Florida.

If you come to Florida to see cars, make it the Daytona Rod Run on Thanksgiving weekend. One of the biggest shows in the US.
About 5000 cars and at least 300-400 mopars, but a LOT of walking.

Really nice quality of cars there for sure!
I miss Ft. Lauderdale. Haven't been down there in quite a few years  :(

Actually contemplated painting my Chally that Stealth blue at one time. What a sick color!!

(noticed a few B bodies in the background, did you by any chance happen to get any pics of those?
If not, no biggie)

Thanks for sharing the pics man

Thanks, I heard that is a really nice show. That would be a great time for me to come down also.

Sorry, here are the only 2 pics I have, since I was lazy about pictures that day:

Got some pictures of some other cool older cars with "firepower" and "fire dome" engines that looked like original hemi's.
I think that Stealth color, known as TA7, or Mystic Blue, is virtually identical to the 96 Viper GTS blue (my favorite "affordable" viper), but when you look side by side the viper is slightly darker and deeper looking.

These gen 2 vipers are about the only car I would consider trading my cuda for.
They will be classics soon enough, and they are sweet!

Ah, nice!!!
Thanks dude.
My need to see gorgeous 70 B bodies is now at rest.
It's always different/cool/neat to see them with the bright sun and the palm trees in the back.
No palm trees up here in lovely New England.
