Oh, yeah, Daisy Duke had one that style...

With a crossram, that had the air cleaners mounted on top of the hood

yeah I would probably change the rims to the yearone 17", these rims just look ugly. but when he gets back I will check it out, Im going to see how much I can get him to lower the price. This isn't a car I will be keeping for that long anyway, I am definitely going to get a 70 challenger within the next 2 years so this will be my driver until then. It may not be the most desired year, but it looks way nicer then the rest of the cars on the road.  8)

Not to burst a bubble here but if your going to get rid of it in 2 years, and you plan on throwing on nicer wheels etc... you're never going to see that money back in resale so a much better idea is to hang onto your cash and not dump money into this car that you will not see back. Save it for that 70 challenger. Patience isn't a word in my personal dictionary so i understand the urge to just buy now...

You could always pull those nicer wheels before you sell the car, and put them on your Challenger.

Be very careful!  This screams "perfumed pig" to me.  There's a good chance there is new paint ontop of fiberglass and bondo repairs.  Look for paint overspray on trim items, body bumpers, door strickers exc.  If there is overspray on alot of parts I'd run. :2cents:  If someone didn't take the time to remove trim before paint, why would they take the time to properly fix rust issues.

Hey everyone, so I was looking at a 74' satellite for $5000 and had a few pros and cons and was wondering ifnyou guys think its worth the money? Ok: pros-great paint, engine runs great, new interior, has a 440, rides fine (this is what im told)
Ok, cons- master cylinder leak, powersteering leak, bit of bondo by rear window seal, some surface rust patches under the car.
Seem worth it?

Bondo by the rear window is scary. If there was rot there and it wasn't cut out and replaced, then it will resurface in a  few years. This area gets washed down regularly by rain. If this wasn't done well, it will get ugly. Surface rust doesn't require patches, unless the surface is gone. Its worth a look over and see how bad it really is. Maybe offer $3500.
