Have you ever done stuff with Shawn?  He seems to have a good reputation and you would have complementary skills to what he does?  Just a thought.

I've never actually met Shawn. I've communicated to him several times on different cars that he's had and sent people his way when they're looking for parts and whatnot, but I've never done business with him personally.

Ok....So I've got a little bit of a window while I wait on some customer's cars......

So I thought I would get on assembling my SIX PACK car....

The plan is to have it ready for Carlisle..... :dunno:

This morning I brought it out of storage to my shop...

I'll post more pictures here as time goes on...

First of all; Car looks great!

2 month window to finish?
Are you all by yourself or have help?

Dang that's alot of time, dedication and money all at once in that short of time.
Buying everything all at once needed would be like Niagra Falls during a major flood season.

Do you sub out any work: interior, headliner, and carpet install?
Dash all ready? Guages re done/restored?

Maybe you can do a fast motion video like this one Beck did.
that would be cool to see. (click on link below)

Well....
I do it for a living...and I work by myself.

I've restored 13 E Bodies in the last 7 years.... http://www.alangallantautomotiverestoration.com/PAST-RESTORATIONS.html

Most of the components are finished, ready to go and are restored by me...

Everything is bought (I hope)

I have a friend install the windshield and back glass and he'll also help with headliner/vinyl roof.

Otherwise everything is done by me, lying on my back with no fancy hoist.... :smilielol:

Don't really have time or knowledge to make a video...

Ok...So I got about ten hours invested in the assembly....

Started with the cool parts like the rear spoiler, side scoops, R/T hood lettering, etc...

Do you happen to know about r35 in late 71 cars? I have the 3 speaker dash pad and a 2 knob radio no thumb wheel. Car looks amazing btw!

Yours is the last radio pictured here: http://www.wardsclassiccarradiorepair.com/id15.html if you have chrome buttons it would be correct for a 1971 model in my opinion. I think the thumb wheel was 1970 and possibly early 71.

Guess I stand corrected...Mar 71 is pretty late... :dunno: looking back at all the 71's I've owned/restored...none had R35 so I guess I should just keep my mouth shut :bricks1:
