I have been looking at the engine compartment and u mentioned u are  having brake issues.
Do you have a hose from the brake booster to the intake manifold...........?? Hose goes to the base of the center carb.

Brakes have finally been solved. The master cylinder was replaced and the rod between the master cylinder and brake booster needed to be adjusted. Speedo is currently pulled apart to be rebuilt and the speedo cable is being replaced. Hopefully it will be ready to drive by the end of the week.
