Nice to see that you did your homework, and painted the radiator supports satin black. I can't tell you how many 'restorations' that I have seen, and that detail is overlooked.  good job!

I agree. There's nothing worse than seeing color show through the grill.

Really needed some black to tone down all that orange.

Today is my birthday, and for my birthday I will get to drive this thing for the very first time! My first trip will consist of driving it on and off the trailer and back into the garage. :) I took it to a local mopar expert to look everything over and make sure I have it put together correctly. He did the initial start up and break in, set the timing, and adjusted the carbs. I also had him modify and install the kickdown linkage as the set I bought from a member her was not correct and I couldn't figure it out. He also bled the brakes and installed the drive shaft. The only issue is that my radiator has a few pin holes, so i'm going to have to get that fixed. Pictures and maybe a short video will come shortly.

Just got her home. Still quite a bit to do, but my goal was to drive it this year before the snow flies. Maybe if I can get the radiator re-cored quickly enough I'll be able to take it around the block a few times. My initial plan was to strip a lot of the chrome/polished trim off the car for a slightly more modern monotoned look, but now I'm thinking it needs some more bling. I'm mulling around the idea of adding the rocker and wheel well mouldingsnack on the car. Thoughts? Like my 80s vintage JC Penny brand tires?  :roflsmiley: I need to get my 15" rally's on there badly...

:iagree:  Maybe add the wheel lip molding but I am not a fan of the rocker trim.

In my opinion :blah: ...not that you asked for it... :smilielol:
When building a "clone" it should have all the items that were standard on the original....like a sheep with four legs....

All (non Hemi) Cudas came with belt moldings, rocker trim, tail panel trim and wheel lip moldings...therefore a clone should have them too :2cents:
