 :iagree:

I am partial to you keeping it a GC, but it is your car, you can do as you please. I added hockey stick stripes, 'cuda hood, fog lights, and dual exhaust to mine but kept the argent tail panel & trim, GC emblems, and grill trim, plus the GC interior.  I get a lot of positive comments from Mopar folks that I kept it a GC and didn't clone it, and from the regular folk that don't know the difference, they are all a 'cuda to them!

What color are you thinking?

Is the original colour White ?

:iagree: with the other Gran Coupe boys, they have valid points and at the end of the day it is your car to do what you want to do to it :2thumbs:

but do take in to account that their really would not have been many WHITE Gran Coupes produced, and the textured tail panel and the extra Gran Coupe features would work so well with White. You can add the `Cuda features with hood a stripe and what ever you tastes need.
Orange is a very nice colour too, it is a tuff decision, me personally i would go White and Gran Coupe paint out.
I know i have added to the confussion, sorry :worshippy

I took my car to the Don Garlits Mopar show yesterday (Saturday was drizzle rain all day), and the vendor where i bought my clips was not there. Sorry, but no luck on getting a part number.

Met up with C-C member 70CUDA4SPEED, who made it all the way from Sweden!  There were two other GC's there, both 1970 convertibles, and neither retained their heritage.  One was converted into a Pro-Street car, and the other was a Slant 6 car converted into a 1971 Hemi clone. I did bring home a 2nd place trophy in the Plymoth e-body class!

Removed all the trim and gaskets today in preparation for paint. This time I remembered to take some pictures of the car.

Turns out the car was originally black, so I'm considering doing it black again. Black with an argent tail panel? Sounds cool to me.

That's a good question, but I have no idea. I hope to find the build sheet as I keep tearing into the car.

Do you have a fender tag for the car at all ?

Why do you think the original colour is black ?

I find it hard to believe that when someone did the colour change to white that they would have removed the master cylinder reinforcement plate, wiper motor, voltage regulartor, horns etc... :dunno:

Looks to me like the original colour is white ?
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !
