Another iPhone game with a Challenger: Real Racing 3
« on: March 10, 2013 - 02:17:42 PM »
So I saw this on a email or something, cool game.  Great graphics!  Called Real Racing 3.  I haven't checked out #1 or #2 but I think I read on the review you may have to pay for those versions.

You have to race to earn $$$$ then you can by up to certain cars.  It's a free app but you can buy cars with real money instead of earning it by winning races.  I'm up to about $30k and the Challenger R/T is about $43k so I have alittle way to go.

The game is setup with auto brake and full throttle.  I dunno if you can change that.  Haven't explored it all.  At first I thought that ws cheesy you can't control the brake and gas but I actually find it to be very helpful as you can concentrate more on the driving aspect of the game.

On the free versions there are multiple races to go through, even a drag race to win $$$.  If you drive like I do, you have to pay for certain repairs as they will detract from acceleration, top speed, braking and handling.  Each damaged item will indicate what the effects on performance it has so you can pick and choose what you feel like fixing.  I had the front bumper hanging off for multiple races as it would only get me an extra 2mph og top speed.

Cool free app, IMO!
