I don't think the cuda kit would fit since the top of the quarters slope differently than challengers and the tail panel piece would be different. If you're pretty handy, they aren't that hard to build. Just a lot of measuring and fitting. I built mine for ~150 bucks and a few afternoons of time - it's basically just plywood and marine carpet.
Yeah, I couldn't bring myself to spend $800 for something that wouldn't fit that would end up getting hacked.
Would you have any pictures for inspirational purposes? I'm curious as how how it all mounted together.
I was planning on making some cardboard templates and transferring to plywood, then cover with carpet. I want to make it secure but removable. I don't want to just screw into panels or weld brackets, because I might want to go back to stock.
As far as a spare tire. I usually don't run with one around town. When I first got the car as a daily driver, I had a spare, jack, wrench and tool box. It would all get tossed around. If I get a flat now, I have a cell phone, call the wife or a buddy. I'll throw one in the trunk when we drive out of town. That is why I'd want the kit easily removable. Thinking of using door panel clips into preexisting holes
This will take some time for brainstorming.
Currently my trunk isn't finished. I plan on treating for corrosion and laying down Dynamat and then carpet. This is the direction I'm leaning towards, rather than painting body color.
