I doubt it :eek2: I know a guy in the U.K. that is having one made, this is as far as they have gotten ,it has been put on the back burner if you will due to other work but it is and would be very difficult to make it , the hours are immense  :eek2:

I SPENT  way to many hours to get mine somewhat decent (THAT IS ME IN THE THIRD PIC ,I was rather stoked to get the car running),but yea there has to be another way
Thats what I'm talking about... Nice work!!!!

Anything ever evolve from this?

I have a 'Cuda hood sitting here that I'm contemplating making some fiberglass molds off of and wet-laying a carbon hood out of.

Wouldn't be amazing results, but it'd probably get it done..

When Chrysler, Plymouth was manufacturing the AAR hood they did wind tunnel tests and found the ( first hood opening was to large )
opening on the AAR hood had to be made smaller to get air flow into the tunnel for performance.
I will try to find the article...........

I'm just looking for a decent quality AAR style hood. Doesn't matter to me if it has the CF look..I would be happy with flat black

Well that's good to know too. Now what? Johns cuda shop.....were you involved in the creating of that CF hood?  And if so, are any available or possibly be available in the next couple of years?

IMO, I have never seena fiberglass anything that was perfectly ready for install. They all need some work somewhere or another, its just that some need it more than others.

Looking for a good maker of AAR hoods also. thought AAR fiberglass was good, now not too sure. Someone liked VFN, hear good and bad about yearone. Maybe I'll call some of our sponsor vendors to see who is currently making the better hood? My head is spinning   Jim
