hopefully it turns out as nice as yours. I was also thinking of adding some sort of an inner fender just to protect the top side in case a rock ding's it, something like a 8-10" wide piece of plastic or something, have you had any problems like that or am I just going overboard.  thx bruce

LOL....  dude, it`s way nicer already  :worshippy
I guess it`s just what makes you feel good...  I felt like giving mine a second life and dings and scratches come with it... wear and tear started the day I started driving it...  :burnout:

well I think your car is pretty damn cool! and I did build mine to drive as well so I may try to add something under the fenders but I guess I can't drive it and be worried about some wear and tear at the same time.  thx bruce

ok, so today I looked and there are 263 days before new hamburg (moparfest) and about 223 days to Carlisle I think, and I told myself I will make it to new hamburg and if the moon and stars align maybe Carlisle.  wish me luck I have quite a bit to do and no real time at home to do it but I will give it my best.   bruce :burnout:

yeah if I worked as quick you I wouldn't  be worried lol. Should work out it's just I'm only home about 8/9 days a month and then vacation time as well. I'm not complaining though cause there were lots of times when I had time but no extra funds, I would like to have a happy medium .

And I would love to have that AAR tucked in my garage.   Bruce

Hey thanks for your input john, you have an amazing build going on. Yeah so your saying after I install the alterkation if I wanted to I could put a 03/04 rack in place of the one that comes with the kit? To get some more radius. Also I am assuming rms will give me the proper springs for the weight of the hemi?

Anyway thx again for input, I will keep the forum updated as I go and also keep an eye on your build as well

Bruce
The Cobra rack has the same mounting bolt spacing as the mustang II rack, but the Cobra rack requires a special steering adapter , that needs to be machined to fit the steering pivot to the double D shaft.I made one for my friends 68 mustang with a Heights suspension , so I know it will work. When I get ready to do this Mod, I will post it.

wow, just looking at the alterkation with power rack/gen11 motor mounts/sway bar and 11" brake kit, $5250.00 total, ok a bit much but I can live with it. what I can't live with is that $5250.00 turns into $6000.00 cad. and then turns into $6800.00 when I bring it across the border!!! :22yikes:  that's an insane difference. as far I know the cheapest place to buy it from is bouchilon performance(unless someone knows better). believe me I knew what I was in for when I started the challenger but with the dollar being the way it is now it feels like Im getting it dry with no lube.  lol

Yeah I believe your right john, that's where I will be ordering it from. Crazy though a part goes from $5200 to $6800, that $1600 could be quite a few other parts that I need. Welcome to  :canada:       Bruce
